This tour will highlight some of the key European paintings that Glasgow Museums has acquired through the generous support of the Hamilton Bequest since the bequest was set up in 1927. Over the last ninety-one years ninety British and European paintings of international importance have been purchased through the bequest for the city, including some of the museum’s best loved artworks.
