Join us for this talk about the author of the well-loved books, Tommy's War and Tommy's Peace. 

To celebrate the acquisition of Thomas Cairns Livingstone's original diaries for the city, archivist Barbara Neilson will introduce the diaries and share their content. Hear about Glasgow during the First World War and how rising rents, the threat of air raids and the war economy affected the city.
