Mitti: Our South Asian Roots
Join us on Commonwealth Day as we celebrate Glasgow Museums’ new RENEW collection of art from South Asia. See work from community projects based on this new collection and create your own art inspired by the new collection.
Throughout the day there will be family arts and crafts and performances including:
- Object handling
- Clay modelling
- Mirror-work coaster making
- Performances on the hour or "Tea and Clay"
along for this family fun day at Scotland Street School Museum from 12 noon - 4pm.
Light refreshments will be available.
The event and the new collection are supported through the Art Fund’s RENEW scheme with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
