Norman McLaren was born at 21 Albert Place, Stirling, on 11 April 1914. He grew up across the road from the Stirling Smith where some of his work was exhibited in the 1930s. Using material from Stirling University’s Norman McLaren Archive, the exhibition provides an insight into his childhood and looks at the influence of Scotland on his filmmaking career. This exhibition is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10.30 to 17.00 and Sunday 14.00 to 17.00.
