Psychedelic Confessions of a Primal Screamer by Martin St John is an autobiography set in Glasgow and recounts the author's time in the nascent period of the now huge rock and roll band Primal Scream. Raised in the Gorbals, Martin St John was Primal Scream’s leather gloved flailing skeleton, bashing away on the tambourine in the days before the Screamadelica album, Top of The Pops and Glastonbury and he has stories to tell. If you think you know Primal Scream – think again.
