To be fashionable in the early seventeenth century you needed to wear a lot of expensive lace - collars, cuffs, and edgings for your dress or doublet, and lace roses to decorate your shoes. In this workshop you will find out how to make a bobbin lace edging that could be used for a brooch, a hair decoration or even a shoe rose!
