What's On in Glasgow Life
Curious Exhibition
A thousand curious conversations, one curious exhibition
The people and collections of Glasgow have many stories to tell. In the Curious Exhibition, objects chosen from Glasgow Museums collections by a wide range of groups and individuals in Glasgow is the staring point for exploring some of these stories.
Through the course of many conversations, exhibition participants selected items that personally appealed to them. The exhibition celebrates those exchanges and looks at the stories that prompted the selections; from childhood memories, to a flash of inspiration, and even a chance meeting with the maker of one object.
St Mungo Museum is offering a free Curious Learning Programme for the duration of the exhibition.
Curious is part of the Scottish Project. The Scottish Project has been funded by Legacy Trust UK, creating a lasting impact from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by funding ideas and local talent to inspire creativity across the UK and by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland.
